Veterinary Physiotherapist ( RAMP registered)

CRC (Canine Rehab Centre) occasionally have space for an ACPAT or RAMP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist to join their team in Cardiff. 

Job Details & Requirements:

  • Role: Veterinary Physiotherapist.
  • Qualifications: ACPAT (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy) or RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners) registration.
  • Location: Cardiff.
  • Team: Friendly canine rehabilitation team.

ACPAT stands for The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy, which is a professional network of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. All Category A and B members are chartered physiotherapists who hold a minimum level 6 qualification.

Clinical Assistant (Volunteer role)

Job summary

The role involves a range of possible activities to support the work of the physio and hydrotherapists whilst they deliver the care to the patients

You may get some opportunity to support with the showering and drying of dogs and will be able to interact with the dogs in the time before and after the treatment but you will not usually be part of the hands on therapy.

Typical duties include

  • Meeting and greeting clients and putting them at their ease
  • Supporting clients filling in registration forms etc
  • Dealing with telephone queries
  • Arranging appointments and handling the diary
  • Administration:
  • General housekeeping and supporting the daily routines
